Blogs that showcase great WordPress themes have always been a favorite of mine. My bookmarks are full of these blogs. I thought you might be interested in visiting some of them.  You can find all kinds of inspiration!

Here’s a list of places to check out:

25 Beautifully Colorful Websites
This site features the themes that will help you in choosing color schemes.

<< I selected this one to show you. It’s Emotions

With a colorful green background and surprise of the legs that include a lot of colors, emotions really stands out.

>> My Ink Blog, by blogger Andrew Houle, featured 33 Awesome Church designs.  He states:

“Nowadays church’s are putting a larger emphasis on current technology as a means of communicating their message to an ever-changing, technical savvy younger generation.”"

Smashing Magazine put together a showcase of “Elegant and Original Blogs” (below) which they say engages visitors with a memorable layout, elegant design and good usability.”

Those are all important factors to consider but don’t forget that content is still king!

Smashing Magazine also put together a post called, “100 Amazing Free WordPress Themes for 2009.”

I really like this next one and it’s free. (See below) It’s called “Black Power.” I love the black with the translucent pastels and how it just looks so clean and easy.

Smashing Mag mentioned how it’s getting more difficult to find quality free designs because of all the premium themes that designers and developers are selling.

It’s true.

My theme for this blog is a premium theme base with child theme.  It was created for web designers / developers so they could customize it for themselves and clients. (I have a developers license.) It’s from iThemes and it’s called the “Builder” theme. You can change it around a lot. In fact you can’t tell all the WordPress blogs that use it because it is so versatile.

Well, I hope you enjoy the links and find some inspiring designs.

What do you surf the web for to get inspired – designs, writing, marketing ideas…?
