Don't be left out in the cold!
In conclusion of this series of posts on video, I thank you for watching! I hope you feel like you know me better! That’s what it’s all about, you know. Connecting with you on a more personal level.
And I hope you won’t allow yourself to be left out in the cold by missing out on the power of using video in your marketing strategies!
With online video sharing sites occupying some of the most valuable property on the internet, it’s foolish to think you can market your business effectively online without at least giving video a shot. It doesn’t matter if you have a “face for radio” or a personality better suited for a librarian (quiet); there’s a way that everyone can bring video into their business marketing strategy effectively. This series of 10 posts has hit some of the easiest ways for even the most camera-shy individuals to start on the path to increasing their visibility, traffic, and success – quickly, easily, and inexpensively.
Your video can be picked up on YouTube, also. And you just never know where that might lead… videos can go viral… they can become a popular tutorial… or they might simply attract the right people to your site.
Speaking of YouTube, please stop by to visit my channel at WordPress Insider >>
And don’t forget, as my husband Dan pointed out in video #8, video is 6 times more effective when it comes to marketing and only 3% of marketers are using it today. Don’t wait! Get in on the next big thing before everyone is doing it. Establish your brand on video before your competition does it.
Wherever you are in your comfort level, I hope you are inspired to try some of these tips to incorporate video into your business today. You won’t know how powerful it is until you give it a try!
Okay, now it’s your turn. Share your video (with you in it) below in the comments and, if you have yet to make a video, give us your best excuse why not! LOL.
Keepin’ it frosty.

You’re right, one my websites sells garage doors and since i’ve placed videos of how the doors work on every category, my sales doubled. It’s unbelievable how much power a film has. Probably people don’t have the time to read anymore, or are too lazy. And you can process the information more easily than by reading it.

Hi Snow Queen
I’ve been impressed by your video series Deb and notice that more and more sites are introducing it.
A Public Speaking friend of mine, Tom Breeze, is putting together a series on the use of video.
As soon as he finishes his videos I’ll post a link on my website.
If he’s in a good mood I’ll try and persuade him to let me have a few of his videos and add them to a post on easyP.
Thanks for showing the rest of us the way with video.

Hi Keith,
Your kind words are much appreciated.
I’m glad you reminded me about Tom’s video blog (http://www.tombreeze.com/). He’s really good on video! Nice presence, clear video, awesome sound, and he immediately strikes me as a nice guy with a lot of knowledge. A great person to learn from. (And I love his accent, too.)
And for those of my visitors not yet familiar with Keith Davis or his blog, you’re really missing out on a lot. He’s a terrific writer, always interesting stuff, makes you think, and he draws a wonderful group of visitors that leave interesting comments… he also responds to everyone, which is very cool. He’s a super nice guy with a great talent and wit!
Here’s his latest post:

But be sure to read his other posts, found in the right hand column of his blog, as well.
Thanks, Keith!
Hi Deb
I’ve just shown my wife your reply.
She thought for a minute then she said… “she must be thinking of another Keith Davis”. LOL
My thanks and gratitude.
BTW – fingers crossed for “The King’s Speech”.

Wellll… In my head I’m convinced I should use video. My lame excuse has been that I don’t like the way I look… I’ve gained a lot of weight… blah blah blah. You know what I mean? But my kids, including my daughters in their 20′s all think I’m “cute” just as I am. LOL
Video is something I have decided to start doing, after I’ve honed a couple of other skills I am currently working on. Thanks for all the great tips on how to do it more effectively.

I’ve never made videos, but i can vouch for their effectiveness because one of my clients website saw huge increases in sales once i gave him the option to upload youtube videos on his online store. I wasn’t hoping for much when he insisted i do that, but it definitely changed my mind on the subject.
Probably people got tired of static websites with just text and pictures.

I had a couple of videos on my blog, but I’m starting to do more videos featuring other people. I’m new at this, but I’m hoping it will add interest to my blog. I had someone ask me to do a video for them, and they referred me to someone else. Like I said, I’m just getting my feet wet with using videos, your posts about videos were very interesting.

Hi Debs
I’ve just started a mini series on using video on blogs.
Paul Wolfe has kicked things off with a great guest post.

Many thanks for your comment over on EasyP.
I think it was one of your posts on video, which first made me think about video – the post where you showed three different video styles.
I’ll find the post and direct a few of my visitors over to take a look.
Best Wishes

Deb,

I am yet to become comfortable with going on video. That being said I am slowly becoming more and more comfortable with the idea, thanks to the insight you provide here. Besides video is EVERYWHERE now, I am thinking I need to just do it. Thank you for sharing
